 HOMEMADE WHOLE WHEAT TAWA PIZZA



Pizza is one of the most desired dishes all over the world. This Flavoursome combination of veggies and cheese bursting out makes it a perfect evening snack. Making this Palatable Italian dish is very easy, represents a healthier alternative than the white crust


Also, whole wheat Pizza does have some benefits. It is bosting for diabetics, heart and weight loss. Adding more and more vegetables to it adds more fibres to the recipe. So, without wasting any time let's start making this tranquil recipe.


INGREDIENTS FOR PIZZA BASE :

Wheat Flour - 1 cup

Curd - As required for making a perfect dough

Salt - 1/2 Tsp

Sugar - 1 Tsp

Baking Powder - 1/2 Tsp

Baking Soda - 1/2 Tsp

Oil - 2 Tsp


PIZZA TOPPINGS :

Pizza Sauce - 2 Tbsp

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - 1/2 Cup

Veggies - Onions, Tomatoes, Capsicum and Corns

Black Olives (optional)

Pizza Seasoning/Oregano

Chilli Flakes


PROCEDURE :

1) In a Mixing Bowl add 1 Cup of Wheat Flour





2) Make a space for adding other ingredients




3) Add Curd as Required for Making the Dough





4) 1/2 Tsp of Salt




5) 1 Tsp of Sugar





6) 1/2 Tsp of Baking Powder




7) 1/2 Tsp of Baking Soda




8) Mix all the Ingredients Properly






9) Add Curd Gradually for Making Dough






10) Knead a Soft Dough





11) 2 Tsp of Oil





12) Knead Continuously for 4 to 5 Minutes





13) Divide the Dough Into two Parts and Make Balls




14) Dust Some Flour



15) Flatten it With Hands




16) Roll the Dough Gently Using a Rolling Pin




17) Roll a Thick Base




18) Prick the base with the help of a Fork




19) On a Heavy Bottom Pan Place the Pricked side of the base on Tawa and cook it for 30 to 40 Seconds on Medium Flame.Do not Cook other Side of the Base.




20) Let us Now add Toppings to our Pizza base.First Spread 2 Tbsp of Pizza Sauce Evenly on the Pizza base.




21) 1/2 a Cup of Shredded Mozarella Cheese




22) Add Veggies of Your Choice Like Onions,Tomatoes,Capsicum and Corns




23) Black Olives are Optional




24) Pizza Seasoning/Oregano




25) Chilli Flakes




26) Place it on a Preheated Pan,Cover and Cook it for 10 to 12 Minutes on Low Flame until Cheese Starts Melting.





27) Pizza Looks Perfect
