This coolant is analogous to Maha Shivaratri and Holi Festival. This moreish drink is a flavoursome combination of dry fruits, milk and Spices. 

Thandai does not just taste luscious but also freighted with a large number of health benefits. Thandai or Sharadi is also an energy-boosting Beverage helping proper digestion of food, Fighting infections and controlling body temperature. Let us now Start preparing this Delectable summer coolant without wasting any time.


Ingredients For Making Thandai Premix :-

1) Cashew Nuts - 2 Tbsp
2) Almonds - 2 Tbsp
3) Melon Seeds - 2 Tbsp
4) Fenugreek Seeds (Saunf) - 2 Tbsp
5) Pistachio - 1 Tbsp
6) Black Pepper - 1 Tbsp
7) Green Cardamom (Elaichi) - 8 to 10
8) Cloves - 1 Tsp
9) Chirongi - 1 Tbsp
10) Poppy Seeds (Khas Khas) - 2 Tbsp
11) Dried Rose Petals - 2 Tbsp
12)Rock Sugar (Mishri) - 1 Cup (250 ml)

Ingredients For Preparing Thandai :- 

1) Milk - 2 Cups
2) Milk - 1/2 Cup (For Soaking)
3) Rose Petal Jam (Gulkand) - 1 Tbsp
4) Thandai Premix - 2 Tbsp
5) Ice Cubes 

PROCEDURE FOR THANDAI PREMIX :-

1) Add 2 Tbsp of Cashewnuts in a pan




2) 2 Tbsp of Almonds




3) 2 Tbsp of Melon Seeds





4) 2 Tbsp of Fennel Seeds





5) 1 Tbsp of Pistachio





6) 1 Tbsp of Black Pepper





 7) 8 to 10 Pieces of Green Cardamom (Elaichi)






8) 1 Tsp of Cloves (Laung)






9) 1 Tbsp of Chirongi





10) 2 Tbsp of Poppy Seeds (Khas Khas)







11) Dry Roast all the Ingredients for about 2 to 3 Minutes on Low to Medium Flame







 12) Once all the Ingredients are Perfectly roasted, cool Completely






 13) Transfer the Roasted Nuts into a Grinder Jar







14) Then Add 2 Tbsp of Dried Rose Petals





 
15) 1 Tsp of Nutmeg Powder (Jaiphal)






16) 1 Cup of Rock Sugar (Mishri)





 
17) Blend all the Ingredients into a fine Powder




 

18) Sieve the Grinded Powder with the help of a Strainer 







19) Store the Thandai Premix in an Airtight Container





PROCEDURE FOR PREPARING THANDAI :-
 
1) In a Bowl take 1/2 cup of Warm Milk





 
2) To it add 2 Tbsp of Thandai Premix






3) 1 Tbsp of Rose Petal Jam (Gulkand)







4) Mix well and leave it for 15 minutes






5) Transfer the Thandai Mixture to a Grinder Jar 








6) Add some Ice cubes





 
7) 2 Cups of Milk






 8) Blend
